The one column format looks really good!

    the format looks better BUT
functionality was better before as you could preview all the specials on the one page.

that was what made your site so great!

now, having a list of the sites is the same amount of hassle as visiting the pages individually ;/

No worries, thanks for the feedback! I see how that could be an easy mistake to make, so I have added a ‘All daily deals’ item to the category which just points back to the front page – easy! Glad you like the site.

    Hey,

I run a 1 Day type site for New Zealand Music called Daily Beat. http://www.dailybeat.co.nz The site features 1 free music track from a kiwi musician or band everyday.

I would love it if you could add me to your list of sites!

If you have any questions feel free to ask.

    Cheers KI

Would be awesome if users could customise the page to only show deals from sites they like.

If you set up some scripting and cookies so each deal site had a small “x” at the top right, and clicking it removed it from the screen and user selections were stored with cookies, it would make browsing through the deals much quicker.

    Great site though, Cheers.

That is a great idea; the original version of the site allowed you to order sites around drop and drag style, but was not used very much at all. I do have a ‘close each site’ item on my list of things to do (which is a very long list!). So many features to implement, what to do first. Maybe its time for a poll… Thanks, Aaron.

For off the back you appear to be displaying the normal price for their listings rather than the sale price?

Thanks Ash for noticing that, I have fixed it up now.

The sale cut off time for Top 10 is shown as midnight, but the site says 10am?

Should Toyco really be listed on One Day sale site they never have anything on actual sale it’s either retail or higher?

They do have 1-3 items on sale most days, and the sale prices are less than their retail prices – but I don’t know how their prices compare to other shops.

I used to find your website really great by gathering all the one day sales or groupy discount and browsing was a breeze. I must tell you that I click on this website almost on a daily basis!

Ever since the format changed to a single column, I’m sorry to say but I really HATES IT! Browsing the items one by one with lots of descriptions underneath means scrolling down to a dreadful longer list and it has the effect of not wanting to click on anything but the X to close this website. Whilst previously it was clean cut, with title and few items/pictures in a row and I’ve clicked on the picture to link to the actual site to buy stuff.

I even went further to look for alternative website that gather similar info. That’s how bad the change is, but I thought I should at least let you know what effect it has on me – a personal opinion, not sure whether others are feeling the same.

I wish you could switch back to an easy browsing site as there are growing one day deals, one column means never ending scrolling.

    Thanks :)
